McGregor City Council meeting from June 7th
(McGregor, MN) — The McGregor City Council meeting from Tuesday, June 7th featured updates on the construction of the new fire hall, quotes for new equipment at the new lift stations, and culvert replacement.
In our conversation with McGregor Mayor Dake Olson he talked about the update from Scott Turner on the construction of the new Fire Hall that has been held back by laying of the foundation.
Representatives from Riverwood Healthcare also spoke to the Council about City funds to update their facilities and possible new location in McGregor.
Mayor Olson also spoke about the Martin Everett property located by McGregor Schools and the plans for demolition.
The City of McGregor also approved a repair quote for the two lift stations from MN Pump.
Plans are also taking place for replacement of culverts after receiving an estimate from Roth Construction.
The McGregor City Council also approved the request from the Fire Relief Association for $1,200 for Wild Rice Days and Open House for the new Fire Hall. The Council is next scheduled to meet Tuesday, July 5th at 6pm from the McGregor Fire Station.
