Million Dollar Lottery Ticket Sold in Twin Valley
Twin Valley, MN — There’s a lot of buzz around the city of Twin Valley right now as the locals are trying to figure out who in town might now be a millionaire! A winning Gopher 5 ticket that matched all five numbers was sold on Monday, February 13th at the Lakes Community Cooperative Convenience Store in Twin Valley and is worth $1,037,792, according to the Minnesota Lottery. Karen Tadych, Manager of the Lake Community Cooperative C-store in Twin Valley says there has been a lot of buzz around the store once the word got out that they sold a winning ticket.
With it being a small community, there’s been a lot of speculation as to who might have won the million dollar prize. Tadych says they have a few ideas, but regardless they are excited for whoever it is.
The winning numbers from Monday night’s Gopher 5 drawing are 22-31-38-40-47. The prize must be claimed at the Minnesota Lottery headquarters in Roseville. The winner’s identity and hometown can be kept anonymous.
