Minnesota’s rich history of tractor companies 

This past weekend, the annual Western Minnesota Steam Threshers Reunion took place in Rollag, and this year’s feature was all about the tractor brand that traces its origins to Red Lake Falls Minnesota, the Steiger Tractor. However, did you know that Minnesota has a rich history of tractor brands that have called the state their home? R&J Ag Reporter Nick Revier says over 100 different tractor brands trace their origins to the Land of 10,000 Lakes. 

Revier says many of these tractor companies saw some success, including the famous Minneapolis-Moline. 

While these were some of the tractor companies that saw successes, and popularity, Revier says there are many brands that popped up, and quickly disappeared.
