MN House discusses bill that aims to help schools pass operating referendums 

The Minnesota House of Representatives held a hearing on Tuesday regarding bill HF 4986 which aims to make it easier for rural Minnesota Schools with a high seasonal recreation tax base to pass operating referendums. Bill author Representative Dave Lislegard tells us more about this bill. 

Mesabi East School District is one school that would benefit from this bill and their Superintendent Jeff Burgess testified in favor of this bill, explaining how it would benefit a school like his.
