National FFA Week: Ulen-Hitterdal FFA’ers Stepping Into Leadership Roles
Ulen, MN — This week is National FFA Week, a week where FFA chapters across the country share what FFA offers and the impact it has on its members every day. Throughout the week we’ll be highlighting area chapters and their accomplishments.
The Ulen-Hitterdal FFA has seen its members step up in big ways these past couple of years. Earlier this year, the program had three of its members, Marty Moore, Joseph Growth, and Danielle Rodewald, receive their American Degree, which is the highest honor an FFA member can achieve.
Also for the first time in recent history, one its members is serving as the Region 1 President, according to Ulen-Hitterdal FFA Advisor Amanda Thorsvig.
Thorsvig hopes the leadership and recent success of the program will continue to inspire its younger members to step up and raise the bar further in the future as well.
The Ulen-Hitterdal FFA Program is celebrating FFA Week this week with a number of fun activities, including dress up days, competitions, trivia, fundraisers, and more.
You can follow along with the Ulen-Hitterdal FFA Program and their activities this week by following their Facebook page and listen for interviews with other area FFA programs throughout the week here on R & J Broadcasting, Inc.
