National Night Out Set for Tuesday, August 2nd in Ada
Ada, MN — Plans are in place for National Night Out, which is scheduled for this coming Tuesday, August 2nd at the Norman County Fairgrounds in Ada from 5:30 to 8pm. Hosted locally by the Ada Chamber of Commerce and Ada Police Department, National Night Out provides an opportunity for the community to get to know those who protect and serve. Lee Ann Hall with the Ada Chamber of Commerce says during National Night Out the public can meet and greet with a number of various law enforcement officers and first responders and get up close and personal with their equipment and vehicles.
The Ada Police Department has been participating in National Night Out for the past two decades, but Hall says their event has continued to grow into one of the most successful in the area thanks to great planning and partnerships with organizations such as the Ada Chamber of Commerce.
Along with law enforcement agencies, a number of community organizations and resources will be on hand to share information about their services.
The Ada Chamber of Commerce will also be serving a free will donation Pulled Pork Supper.
