Norman County Historical Society Stays Busy During Norman County Fair
Ada, MN — Take a break from corn dogs and tilt-a-whirls and head to the Prairie Village and the Norman County Historical Society to take in some history and other fun activities during the Norman County Fair. All of the buildings will be open at Noon each day for browsing, but there’s plenty of special activities this year at the Prairie Village as well. Today, Norman County Historical Society Director Solveig Kitchell says there will be free caricatures at the log museum and even street magic on display.
Friday is Senior Day at the fair and as part of that the Historical Society will have special presentations and music on the schedule.
The Norman County Historical Society will have volunteers staffed in all of the buildings in the prairie village to provide more information to explorers. Kitchell says she greatly appreciates all of those who step up to help during the busy fair.
Kitchell also welcomes all to check out the seven new exhibits in the log museum this year and notes that there will always be coffee available on the porch.
