Minnesota — During a recent visit on the KRJB Kaleidoscope Program, Norman County Veterans Service Officer John Rosenberger provided more information on the recently announced Post 9/11 Veterans Service Bonus that was passed through the Minnesota Legislature. Rosenberger notes that MDVA has a history of post-war bonuses and this latest provides a bonus for those who served in the Global War on Terrorism.

The application period will begin on July 7th and will be open until June 30th, 2024 so veterans will have plenty of time to apply as long as funding doesn’t run out. Rosenberger says the process will be done similarly to the front-line workers bonus application that is currently open in Minnesota.

More information on the Post 9/11 Service Bonus can be found online at MinnesotaVeteran.org/ServiceBonus or stop and see John Rosenberger at his booth at the Norman County Fair.
