(Baxter, MN) — The Northland Arboretum in Baxter is venturing out with their first Firefly Festival this Saturday with live music, food, specialty cocktails, and beautiful surroundings on Saturday, August 13th.
We recently caught up with Arboretum Executive Director Candice Zimmerman about this event that was inspired by a conversation and how the event can be tied back into conservation.
Tickets can be purchased on the Arb’s website with VIP and general admission being available for great live music.
Jack Pine Brewery and The Shante will pitch in with a special brew and cocktails, which will see portions of the proceeds going back to the Arboretum.
Food trucks will also be available for people to grab a bite to eat.
Raffle prizes will also be part of the Firefly Festival.
Firefly Festival 2022 is Saturday, August 13th from 5-9pm from the Northland Arboretum with tickets still available at www.northlandarb.org/firefly-festival.
You can also listen to our full chat with Candice Zimmerman from the Northland Arboretum by going to the Wake The Lakes page at rjbroadcasting.com.
