NP Joins CRMC’s Hospitalist Staff
Christine Soxman of Merrifield will join the medical staff of Cuyuna Regional Hospital in Crosby in October as a Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner. She will focus on the general medical care of hospitalized patients.
Soxman has served as a Registered Nurse for the last 25 years in both inpatient and outpatient settings. She comes to CRMC from the Minneapolis Heart Institute where she worked as a nurse clinician in Baxter and Crosby since 2007. She has experience as a Heart Transplant Coordinator and a Registered Nurse in Cardiac Critical Care at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis, and as a Registered Nurse at Dakota Heartland Hospital’s Critical Care Unit in Fargo, North Dakota.
Soxman earned her Master of Science degree in Nursing at the University of North Dakota-Grand Forks where she studied to become an Adult-Geriatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner. She also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Bethel University in Roseville.
Outside of her practice, Soxman enjoys spending time outdoors, fishing, tending to her flower gardens, and socializing with friends and family. Most of all she loves doing life with her husband, Todd, raising their three fun and active sons.
