Oh Canada: Emo Feeds Interview w/ John Sawatzky

For the first ever Oh Canada Show outside of Fort Frances, Ed Gackley was set up inside the Emo Feeds building where he got to talk to John Sawatzky who owns the business. John would start by talking about the history of the store.

It’s a business built off service, and John Sawatzy was then asked about the store’s primary business and whether it was the feed-and-seed or if it was now retail. John had the following to say.

Emo Feeds receives a lot of praise for their quality and variety of products that they have to offer, and they are all primarily brought in by his wife Sabine who personally selects them

Sawatzy also talked about their Spring Fever event happening Saturday, April 18th, 19th, and 20th which is gonna have all kinds of goodies.

While the games for the children are happening upstairs, there will be a percentage sale happening downstairs for shoppers. John talked about the plan to get all stocked up for the 18th and Ed praised the hard work the Emo Feeds’s employees put in to get the store ready. John Sawatzy himself even praised his staff.

A fun fact to know about John is originally a Manitoba guy who moved to the Emo area back in 2015, and he had a special thanks to those who preference Emo Foods for their shopping needs.
