Olsen Softball Complex Getting New Lights
Hillsboro, ND — A bright idea is turning into a reality this summer at the Olsen Softball Complex in Hillsboro. Thanks to a number of community supporters, the Hillsboro-Central Valley softball team and other interested parties will get the opportunity to play under the lights next season. Burro Softball Coach Cory Erickson says the project, which costs just north of $125,000 also opens up opportunities for more teams to play at the iconic facility and bring more people into the Hillsboro community.
While they won’t pay for the whole project with ice cream sales, Erickson added that adding an ice cream machine to the concession stand at the Olsen Softball Complex has been a nice addition this spring and summer.
