Pierz City Council meeting from Monday, September 26th

(Pierz, MN) — The City of Pierz held their second meeting in the month of September on Monday with the Council receiving an update on the Street Improvement Project, the arrival of a needed Fire Department equipment, and confirmation of an addition to personnel for the upcoming election. 

Mayor Dave Fisher recapped the meeting’s event with the City making a recommendation to the Morrison County Board for an appointment on the Water and Sewer Board.

SEH was on hand to give an update on the 2024 Street Improvement Project and what parts will be initially worked on.

The Pierz Fire Department also received their new fire truck.

The City of Pierz and their election judges will have another volunteer added to the rotation for the November Election.

The City of Pierz approved raising the Seasonal Camping rate from $1,800 to $1,950 starting in 2023. 

The Pierz City Council is next scheduled to meet on Monday, October 10th at 7pm from Pierz City Hall.
