Prairie Pines Childcare Center to Open Monday
Fosston, MN — Prairie Pines Childcare, a new nonprofit childcare center in Fosston, is set to officially open their doors and welcome children into the facility this coming Monday, July 25th. It’s a project that’s been a couple years in the making and Greg Mireault with their Board of Directors says it’s a big moment to finally open.
The idea of to form a nonprofit childcare facility stemmed from a 2018 childcare taskforce that identified an immediate need for more childcare in the community. Mireault says in July of 2020 they officially moved forward with creating the nonprofit and the process of developing a childcare center.
Abigail Rolf is the Director of the Prairie Pines Childcare Facility. She says they will open to infants and toddlers to start and slowly transition in other age groups.
Prairie Pines Childcare is still accepting enrollments for infants and toddlers and is seeking additional lead teachers and assistant teachers for the preschool classroom. For more information, please contact Abigail at 218-435-1130.
