Short-Staffed Mahnomen School District Making Adjustments, But Off to Good Start
Mahnomen, MN — The Mahnomen School Board held their regular monthly meeting on Monday night, September 12th where they discussed the start of the school year, staffing, and schedule adjustments. The district is short staffed at the moment as they were unable to fill some positions before school got underway this year. Mahnomen Superintendent Jeff Bisek says they’ve had to move some people and schedules around, but they are making it work for the time being.
Another position the district will need to fill soon is an IT Director, according to Bisek.
Otherwise, Superintendent Bisek says the school year is off to a good start and he reminds the public be safe and watch out for children with class being back in session.
The Mahnomen School Board meets on the 2nd Monday of every month.
