A farmer from Ogema has received a grant through the USDA’s Rural Energy for America Program. Kevin Hoban received $208,034 to install an energy efficient grain dryer. The project is expected to save $8600 annually in electricity costs. Hoban was one of ten Minnesotans to receive clean energy grants.
An Ogema man has been sentenced in Becker County District Court with felony terroristic threats and gross misdemeanor DWI. Court records say that the defendant Joseph Daniel Schultz, 41 of Ogema MN had driven up to a house and threatened to shoot someone.
