Traill County Career Expo is Wednesday at Mayville Armory

Mayville, ND — The Traill County Economic Development Commission is hosting a job fair from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, March 2 in Mayville.

The event, which will be held at the Mayville Armory at 332 Center Ave. S., is free and open to the public. Anyone seeking employment – or anyone curious about the opportunities available with Traill County employers – is encouraged to attend.  

Jim Murpy, Executive Director of the Traill County EDC, says they will have a wide range of industries represented at the career fair, include agriculture, manufacturing, and health care.

Murphy said the job fair also functions as a career expo for area students to learn more about Traill County’s businesses and the career opportunities that might be available as those students are making their post-secondary plans.

Last year’s job fair was held virtually due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but Murphy says he’s very excited for employers and future employees to be able to connect in-person again.
