Two Area Businesses Receive MN Grants

The Minnesota Department of Agriculture has awarded grants to two area businesses through its Meat, Poultry, Egg and Milk Processing Grant program.  B and E Meats of Crookston is receiving a grant to buy a utensil washer for its meat processing facility.  And Callahan Meats,  Inc. of Barnesville has received a grant to buy equipment for processing and packaging, as well as equipment for slaughter facility improvements for a meat processing facility, including a slicer, mixer/grinders, labeler and coolers.
