United Way NE MN’s presents you: Restaurant Week in Koochiching County! August 12-16

There is a new week-long event coming up in August that is called “Restaurant Week” which is being presented by United Way of Northeastern Minnesota. It is an opportunity for restaurants in Koochiching County to donate to United Way NE MN and their programs and partners, and Elizabeth Kelley had come in to tell us more about the event and how it came to be.

As they prepared for the event, they’ve received numerous sponsorship support!

So what are some of the restaurants participating so far? And how did they choose to participate?

But there’s always room for more restaurants to join the event! As the deadline is Monday, July 22nd.

All proceeds raised throughout the week will be going into many different programs and partners of United Way as Elizabeth Kelley tells us.

Which is so amazing how wide-reaching the support comes from as they all help important causes.

And who doesn’t like showing off a new pair of shoes at home?

Mrs. Kelley then lets us know about other ways people can help and get involved with United Way.
