USDA Recognizes Polk Norman Mahnomen WIC for Excellent Breastfeeding Support 

The United States Department of Agriculture Food and Nutrition Service Awarded Polk Norman Mahnomen Community Health Services the Gold Breastfeeding Award of Excellence for their work for their WIC Program. Kristy Rott of the WIC program explains what the award is and the program that led to them being honored. 

Rott also highlighted some other things that WIC does in the community. 

There was an award acceptance ceremony and celebration held last week.
