Wake The Lakes “Moron Lawbreaker for the Week”

A Florida man saved cops the trouble of taking his mugshot — by leaving his phone, complete with a smiling selfie, at the scene of an assault he committed. Jaihmereun Short and an accomplice allegedly lurked behind a trailer waiting for someone to cross their path, and wound up finding two men returning from a grocery store. The pair allegedly jumped the victims, who they did not know, and assaulted them with punches and kicks — with Short pulling a gun at one point.  The victims managed to get away, and Short fled the scene — but forgot to take both his gun and his phone, which had his photo displayed prominently. The 18-year-old, who had bruises and gashes on his knuckles, tried to convince cops that he was the one who was assaulted, but the officers didn’t buy it and booked him on multiple charges.
