Wild Rice Lutheran Church Hosting Traditional Irish Meal on St. Patrick’s Day
Flom, MN — Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with a delicious and traditional style Irish meal! The Wild Rice Lutheran Church will be hosting their 6th Annual St. Patrick’s Day fundraiser meal on Friday, March 17th from 5pm to 7pm at the Flom Hall. The meal will consist of Corned Beef, Cabbage, Mulligan Stew, and Biscuits, which is prepared from scratch by church volunteers, according to Althea Fick of the Wild Rice Lutheran Church.
While the meal hasn’t changed, the venue and date of the dinner has. Fick says that was partially out of necessity and partially to try something new.
Funds raised through their St. Patrick’s Day Dinner will be split between community service projects and church updates. Fick talks more about the kitchen remodel that the Wild Rice Church is in the midst of at the moment.
The meal is a free will donation and is supported by Thrivent Action funds. Take outs are also available by contacting Jolee at 218-849-0247.
