FSA Hosting Beginning Farmers Meeting in Norman & Clay County
Ada, MN — Between the FSA, NRCS, SWCD, and other agencies, the alphabet soup of local agencies that have programs available assist farmers can be confusing, especially for beginning farmers that are new to the industry. To assist those beginning farmers, the Norman and Clay County Farm Service Agency and partner agencies will be hosting a Beginning Farmer meeting at 9am on Wednesday, March 29th at RDO in Hawley and 9:30am on Thursday, March 30th at the Ada Events Center. James Cruize, Norman and Clay County FSA Director, says this is a great opportunity to learn about the various federal and state program that could provide assistance to support your farming operation.
