With extreme heat approaching, sun protection is key 

It’s going to be a very hot and sunny weekend, and Norman-Mahnomen Public Health is reminding people about the importance of sunscreen, especially if you’re going to the lake, or the Polk County Fair. Tammy Carlsrud of Norman-Mahnomen Public Health shares some sun protection tips that you should be taking into consideration. 

If you become burned or are getting exhausted from the heat, go indoors immediately.
