Detroit Lakes Halloween Flu Shoot Event

The Essentia Health St. Mary’s-Detroit Lakes Clinic, located at 1027 Washington Ave., will host a Halloween-themed walk-in flu event from 9-11:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 24.

Flu shots will be available for ages 6 months and older. There will be Halloween-themed games and prizes, and attendees are encouraged to come in their costumes. Remember to wear short sleeves for easy administration. You do not need to be an Essentia patient to attend, and no appointment is required.

One of the best ways to protect yourself and your loved ones from the flu is to get vaccinated. Flu vaccines are covered by Medicare, Medicaid and most commercial and private insurance plans.

You can also schedule your flu shot through your Essentia MyChart account, online at EssentiaHealth.org/flu or by calling our toll-free number at (844) 663-1068.
