Ada-Borup-West School Board News & Notes from March 8th Meeting
Ada, MN — The Ada-Borup-West School Board held their regular monthly meeting on Tuesday morning, March 8th where they approved a new contract with Essentia Health, the purchase of a mini-bus, and a few different buildings and grounds updates.
The contract approved with Essentia Health was for a K-12 Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, which Ada-Borup-West Superintendent Aaron Cook says will assist with behavioral issues amongst all students.
Under buildings and maintenance items, the board approved new gym wall mats to conform with the new district name and some landscaping needs as well, according to Cook.
The board also discussed resurfacing the gym floor to reflect the new district name as well, but Superintendent Cook says that will have to hold off for now.
And the board this week approved the purchase of a new mini-bus, which are easier for transporting smaller groups of students and don’t require special licensing to drive.
The Ada-Borup-West School Board also approved the 2022-2023 school calendar.
