Aitkin woman suffers non-life threatening injuries in crach

A crash on Highway 169 in Aitkin Co. sent an 81 y/o woman to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The Minnesota State Patrol responded to the crash, which was reported at 7:25 am on Tuesday, November 22nd. Christine Ann Schneider, 38, was traveling south on Highway 169 in a 2013 Cadillac ATS . Judith Anne Matthias, driving a 2017 Honda CR-V, was stopped at County Highway 28 and Highway 169 in Farm Island Township. According to the crash report, Matthias pulled out into traffic and made contact with the Cadillac. Matthias was transported to Riverwood Healthcare Center in Aitkin. Schneider, the driver of the Cadillac, also suffered non-life-threatening injuries. She was not taken to a hospital.
