On New Years Day a Postal truck was involved in a rollover just outside of Fosston city limits. The Post Office truck carrying mail overturned just west of Fosston on County Road 1. The driver is reportedly safe and did not suffer any serious injuries.

After 136 years of service, the Poplar Lake Church in Fosston will be closing its doors. The final service is scheduled for December 31st at 10:45am. Everyone is invited to the church’s decommissioning service on January 21st at 3pm, with a light lunch to follow.
