Barnesville City Council News & Notes from February 14th Meeting
Barnesville, MN — The Barnesville City Council held their regular monthly meeting on Monday night, February 14th. At the meeting the council approved setting a public hearing as they look to redistrict their wards as their population grows and expands into their new developments, according to Barnesville Mayor Jason Rick.
The council also continues to work on the final details and plans for next year’s Highway 9 Project, according to Rick.
And the City of Barnesville had their grand opening of their brand new municipal Firehall Liquors off-sale last month. Mayor Ricks says they’ve had a lot of positive comments so far.
Also like most cities, snow removal has been a non-stop activity. Mayor Ricks gives props to the crews in Barnesville for the excellent work this winter.
The Barnesville City Council meets on the 2nd Monday of each month.
