Farm Service Agency Weekly Report

During his weekly report on KKCQ Radio, Nathan Peterson with the FSA Office reminded CRP participants about contract stipulations and also spoke about additional drought assistance for livestock producers. Peterson reminded producers who have a CRP contract that these next few weeks as weather permits they should check the cover and perform any needed maintenance on those acres.

The Farm Service Agency recently announced additional disaster assistance is available to livestock producers through the ELAP feed hauling program.

The deadline to file an application for the additional disaster assistance is June 30,2022. More information can be found on the FSA’s website farmers.gov
