FSA Encourages Farmers & Other Motorists to Be Patient and Practice Safety as Spring Planting Gets Underway
Bemidji, MN — Now that temps have warmed, farmers will be in the field in full force once it is dry enough to do so. And with planting already behind, it’ll be a mad rush to get the crop in once they are able to. Julie Kolodji with Farm Service Agency reminds motorists who will be encountering tractors and farm machinery on the roadways to be patient as they move from field to field.
For the farmers, Kolodji encourages them to stay hydrated, do their best to get rest when they can, and use your safety equipment properly.
And as we get underway with spring planting, tune in to the Farm and Field Show on Wednesdays from 2-5pm on 106.5 KRJB for reports from the field.
