HBA Hosting District 20 Legislative Forum this Saturday
Hillsboro, ND — Find out what’s happening at the State Capitol and learn more about the bills being discussed during the North Dakota legislative session during Hillsboro Business Association Legislative Forum this Saturday, February 4th at 10am at the Main Street Community Center in Hillsboro. Senator Randy Lemm, Representative Jared Hagert, and Representative Mike Beltz, all from District 20, will be in attendance. Currently there are 1,000 bills introduced to the North Dakota Legislature and this will be an opportunity to provide input, question, and understand some of the legislation that is being considered, according to HBA member Gregg Webster.
All of the bills that have been introduced can be tracked on the North Dakota Legislature website. Face to face opportunities such as the Legislative Forum are ideal opportunities for people to interact with state legislators. Regardless of party affiliation or political beliefs, Webster says the HBA feels it’s important that the community be able to interact with the legislators and have their voices heard.
The HBA Legislative Forum will also be broadcast live on YourLiveEvent.com.
Individuals from across district 20 are welcome to come and participate or participate through emailing questions to HBAlegis@yahoo.com.
