Lake Park-Audubon School Board News & Notes from January 23rd Meeting
Lake Park, MN — The Lake Park-Audubon School Board held their regular monthly meeting on Monday night, January 23rd. At the meeting the board reviewed and approved their annual audit report from Eide Bailey. Lake Park-Audubon Superintendent Dr. Tim Godfrey says the district remains in strong financial shape.
With there being some extra funding available, Dr. Godfrey notes that the board decided to go ahead with adding an additional Full-Time Elementary teacher to their staff.
The Lake Park-Audubon School Board also had some discussion this week about changes to their graduation requirements. As they continue to implement career and technical education offerings, Godfrey says he’d like to make that part of requirements.
And Dr. Godfrey provides an update on the construction project well underway at the Elementary School in Audubon.
The Lake Park-Audubon School Board also approved their annual World’s Best Workforce Report.
