Minnesota State Patrol to Increase Presence During Holiday Travel Season
Minnesota — With the busy holiday travel season getting underway this Thanksgiving, you can expect to see a large law enforcement presence on the roadways from now until the start of the new year. Sgt Jesse Grabow with the Minnesota State Patrol says it’s not their goal to give citations, but rather its their goal to make the roadways safer. Drive safe, drive sober, or get pulled over.
And because conditions can change in a hurry in Minnesota, Sgt Grabow strongly encourages motorists to be prepared for the worst and have those winter survival kits available for your holiday travels.
According to the Minnesota Department of Public Safety, 402 people have died on Minnesota roadways so far in 2022.
