Nathan Peterson checks in with the weekly FSA Report

Nathan is the FSA agent for Clearwater East Polk and Beltrami counties. They are looking for nominations for county committee elections. Each member serves a 3 year terms. Interested farmers and ranchers are encouraged to apply.

There are many positions available that the FSA needs to fill quickly. If you currently farm or partake in federal farm programs Nathan strongly encourages you to apply for a nomination. To nominate someone or yourself contact your local FSA office or visit www.fsa.usda.gov by Tues Aug 1st.

Nathan switches gears to talk about the CRP programs. August 1st concludes the nesting season, however He encourages you to review your program for needed criteria prior to haying/grazing. Please apply to FSA to be approved for such activities.
