Norman County East School Board News & Notes
Twin Valley, MN — The Norman County East School Board held their regular monthly meeting last Monday, July 18th. As it was the first meeting of the new school year, the board took care of much of the usual action, such as milk and fuel bids, set district fees, and the long-term facilities maintenance plan, according to Norman County East Superintendent Rob Nudell.
The school board did approve some staffing items as well. Included in that was a new 6th Grade Teacher and a new School Counselor.
And to stay competitive when it comes to finding substitute teachers, Superintendent Nudell says the Norman County East School Board approved an increase to sub pay.
The board also approved a Memorandum of Understanding with the Teacher’s Union as they look to get an E-sports program launched this fall.
The Norman County East School Board meets next on August 15th.
