Prairie Grains Conference Kicks Off Farm Meeting Season at Alerus Center
Grand Forks, ND — The 2022-23 farm meeting season kicks off this Wednesday and Thursday with the annual Prairie Grains Conference at the Alerus Center in Grand Forks. The Prairie Grains Conference is hosted by the Minnesota Association of Wheat Growers, North Dakota Grains Growers Association, and Minnesota Barley and features research sessions, grower meetings, keynote speakers, an ag expo, and more.
The opening day of the Prairie Grains Conference features the annual meetings from the various grower groups, plus a number of breakout and research sessions, according to Minnesota Wheat Growers CEO Charlie Vogel.
A trio of keynote speakers will highlight Thursday of the Prairie Grains Conference covering topics such as marketing, weather, and future trends. Vogel says they are proud to welcome Paul Gerdes of CHS, Mark Jirik of the Northern Crops Institute, and NDAWN’s Daryl Ritchison.
Vogel is also very excited about this year’s Ag Expo. In between sessions and keynotes, he encourages growers to check out the latest in agriculture.
