Representative Marquarts Comments on State of the State & State of District 4

Dilworth, MN — Minnesota Governor Tim Walz gave his annual State of the State Address on Sunday night. The address was given in the House of Representatives for the first time since 2019. The previous two messages were given virtually from the Governor’s home. District 4B Representative Paul Marquart shared his thoughts on the State of the State and the State of District 4 during the KRJB Kaleidoscope Program on Friday morning. Marquart says the area is in good shape overall, but the biggest challenge facing Minnesota is the shortage of workforce.

Solving the workforce shortage is a tricky issue, but Marquart believes the best way to go about it is to incentivize workers to come to Minnesota and retain those already living here.
